When you say "time" in English, notice that you usually add an extra voiceless breath right after the "t". Written down it would sound like:
"t-hhh-hime" (it's exaggerated of course).
When pronouncing the Spanish "t", place your tongue right under your front teeth and speak
the rest of the word without adding exactly that voiceless breath which you're normally used to.
